"Blizzard has once again rasied the bar."
Does World of Warcraft's abbreviation “WoWthe true definition of 'WOW!'? But of course. World of Warcraft simply raised the status bar on massively multiplayer online role playing games. I really haven't been this addicted to an online game since Warcraft 3 (the strategy game). It simply is spectacular at every aspect in every possible way. It's truly a must own title for any PC gamer out there even if your “hardcoreor a “casual this title is for you.

Now World of Warcraft doesn't bring anything new to the ever growing genre of MMORPG'S (massively multiplayer role playing games). What it does is make every typical aspect you'll know you'll experience in the genre and makes it completely better than anything else. For example, you'd normally expect a steep learning curve in a MMORPG, but WoW makes it that you don't even need to read any game manual. It's very initiative. If this doesn't satisfy your growing need for better controls, maybe the full customizations of keys will do it for you? Who knows, huh?

The graphics are also top notch. The minimum requirements don't even diminish your playability since it will still look pretty good. The art style of the graphics maybe cartoony to most but it does what it's suppose to. It makes you feel like you're playing a 3D cartoon, if that was ever possible. It truly is in a league of its own in the art direction field.

The soundtrack bottoms out to above mediocre. You'll hear your typical moaning sounds of death from dying monsters and the environment music does its job greatly. You won't find much problems here.

The story of this game also forwards the marvelous story of the scourge from Warcraft 3. Every race has its own problems and missions. Oh yeah, the missions. It's your typical 'find that monster and kill X amount of it and bring it to Y' or 'Collect X items and delivery it to Z for mucho money'. It's not the very best missions but some NPC's will offer you missions you simply will never forget.

Now, not every game is perfect. This game has its shares of problems but most of them are opinionated. For me, a more varied customization feature would have been better. Every character of a particular race is the same height and same physical stature. I really wanted more options in this department. I don't want an eight foot tauren or a 4 foot undead. Like I said though, it's opinionated. You may like it but I don't.

Also the servers. Oh my, the servers are just plain awful in some days. Playing in a high populated server will most likely put you in a waiting line just to play. I hope Blizzard will fix this. Plus, I'm in dire need of a world pass for my characters. Have I been spoiled by Final Fantasy XI? Nah...

The duels are also a blessing in a game like this. It gives you a better reason to go deeper in those wood to look for a better sword or gain more experience to compete with real people.

In conclusion, World of Warcraft definitely stands out from other MMORPG's. It's a sure win for you if you buy it. You really won't find anything better than this in its department, that's for sure. The perfect score doesn't mean it's perfect but as always, it means it's the best in it's genre. So in closing, this just might be the closest we'll get to an actual 3D Diablo so enjoy it.
